After the completion of Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery he went on and expanded his knowledge by the addition of a Diploma in Public Health from Post Graduate Medical College/Institute in 1991. In between the years of 1982-1991 he has worked in many different vocational settings where majority were hospital rotations, boosting his skills in every field of medicine. He has extensively worked and taught in various clinics, universities and hospitals across Pakistan and finally in 2001 he further added another Diploma to his existing expertise by achieving DHM (Diploma Homeopathy Medicines) from Galien University, London, UK.
His fine grasp of comprehensive experience over all aspects of medical profession came from working as a Rural General Practitioner in Pakistan and frequent locums all over United Kingdom (Glasgow, Dumfries, Edinburgh, Kent, and Basildon) as well as research in “Iron and Folic acid intake by Asian women”. To further broaden his skills he has volunteered at Glasgow Mental Health Unit, Emergency life support in relief camps in Pakistan and in remote areas of Africa which were organised by PCT Scotland.
His continuous efforts towards medical field are very vast which have allowed him to perform at his best in difficult and demanding situations, along with working in diversified cultures and countries as both registrar and supervisory level.
